My arrows came in today!!! I’m so excited that all 11 fit in the quiver, because I thought for sure after I made the quiver, it wasn’t going to work. I wanted the 11 because of the book so I’m really happy it worked out.
But not just that, look at these beautiful pieces of art! I did NOT make them. They’re made by the talented SolemnWishes.
Today I finished my quiver and painted my bow! The quiver I just made from a poster tube that I cut in half and covered. It’s extremely derpy, so I just won’t be doing close ups of my backpack and quiver in the shoot. I still want to get some elastic cording to use to hold it to the backpack properly the way she does.

For the midnight release of The Avengers, my friends and I left from my day long party and went to the El Cap. It was amazing! There was trivia and even a costume contest! The photos above are all from the costume contest. I got a chance to do some basic martial arts on stage and even won first place!
After, Clark Gregg came out to introduce the movie. He gave me “Ms. Romanoff” a shout out for winning and told me to stay after because he needs to debrief me. “If you know what I mean.” He’s awesome and hilarious and it was such an honor that he was there.
Sorry if this a repeat question on your Black Widow costume. It's just so lovely, but I was wondering like what material you used to make it and such? It looks so official.
No worries. It’s a lycra that I found in the LA district. And thank you so much! It means a lot.
This is just a teaser pic of my movie Katniss Everdeen costume from The Hunger Games. It doesn’t show my props and hair and make-up, just the clothes I have so far.
This is my non-con costume meaning I just did it for a photo shoot and potentially small cons around here, but if ever there was a costume MADE for SDCC and D*C, it’s this one! Let’s see, warm jacket with pockets, a whole backpack, flat and comfy boots, and comfy cotton clothing…why am I not doing this at a con?! LOL
On a side note…I really wish I had lips.
